Not sure which facial to book? From our Classic Facial to the luxurious Diamond treatment, here's a breakdown of every facial we offer at Sam's Threading Beauty Salon — and how to choose the one that's right for your skin.
A great facial does more than just relax you — it resets your skin. Whether you're dealing with congestion, dullness, dryness, or just want to treat yourself, the right facial can make a visible difference in how your skin looks and feels.
At Sam's Threading Beauty Salon in Mamaroneck, we offer a focused menu of facial treatments designed to address the most common skin concerns. Here's everything you need to know to choose the right one.

Our Classic Facial is the perfect introduction to professional skincare. It includes:
- Deep cleansing to remove surface impurities
- Steam to open pores
- Gentle exfoliation to remove dead skin cells
- Extractions (if needed) to clear congestion
- A customized mask based on your skin type
- Moisturizer and SPF to finish

- Enzyme exfoliation to dissolve dead skin cells without irritation
- Extended steam and extractions to clear blocked pores
- A purifying clay or charcoal mask
- Lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer
Best for: Oily, acne-prone, or congested skin.
Diamond Facial — $80
Our most luxurious treatment. The Diamond Facial combines professional-grade skincare with a deeply relaxing experience:
- Thorough double cleanse
- Microdermabrasion-style exfoliation for a polished, smooth finish
- Steam and extractions
- A brightening vitamin C or hydrating hyaluronic acid serum
- A premium sheet mask or custom treatment mask
- Facial massage to boost circulation and lymphatic drainage
- Rich moisturizer and SPF
Best for: Dull, tired, or aging skin; special occasions; clients who want the full luxury experience.
How Often Should You Get a Facial?
For most skin types, a professional facial every 4 to 6 weeks is ideal. This aligns with your skin's natural cell turnover cycle and keeps your complexion consistently clear and healthy.
If you're targeting a specific concern — like persistent acne or hyperpigmentation — more frequent treatments (every 2 to 3 weeks) can accelerate results. Your technician can recommend a schedule based on your skin's needs.
What to Do Before Your Facial
A little preparation goes a long way:
- Avoid retinol and exfoliating acids for 48 hours before your appointment. These sensitize the skin and can cause irritation during treatment.
- Don't wax or thread the facial area within 48 hours before your facial.
- Come with a clean face if possible — or let us know you're wearing makeup and we'll handle the cleanse.
- Tell us about any allergies or skin sensitivities before we begin.
What to Do After Your Facial
Your skin is freshly exfoliated and more receptive to products after a facial — make the most of it:
- Skip heavy makeup for the rest of the day if you can. Let your skin breathe.
- Stay out of direct sun and apply SPF if you're heading outside.
- Avoid retinol and strong acids for 24 to 48 hours post-treatment.
- Drink plenty of water to support your skin's hydration from the inside out.
- Don't pick at any areas that were extracted — let your skin heal naturally.
